Amy’s London Marathon

Sunday 3rd October, London

In October 2021 I’ll be running the London Marathon to help raise much-needed awareness of Amy’s story and nut allergies, with the aim of continuing to support the work of The Amy May Trust.

While I have never had the pleasure of meeting Amy, having been friends with Amy’s cousin for over a decade, the task of running the 26.2 miles will be made a lot easier knowing each step will help raise both money and awareness for this inspirational lady.

Laura’s Ironman

26th September 2020, Cascais, Portugal

Laura Fernandez Alonso is taking on one of life’s extreme sporting challenges in September 2020, when she competes in the Ironman race in Cascais, Portugal.
This feat of endurance consists of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run, which has to be completed without a break within a 16 hour timespan.
Good luck Laura, you are a superwoman!

Lindsey & Mark’s Wedding

September 2021

In September 2021, Amy’s friends Lindsey and Mark will be getting married at Sutton Hall in Essex.

Amy knew both through her years at ITV and spent many happy days working alongside Lindsey as a digital producer on shows like This Morning and Good Morning Britain – there were also many happy prosecco-fuelled nights, too!

The pair look forward to having Amy as a guest at their big day and in lieu of a wedding list, invite friends and family to make a donation to the Amy May Trust. Any amount, no matter how small, will be enormously appreciated as it will go towards the vital therapies Amy still so desperately needs. Thank you.

Laura’s Ironman 70.3

Ironman 70.3 in Vichy, France.

Laura Fernandez Alonso will be undertaking the enormous challenge of the Ironman 70.3 event in Vichy, next summer. This event will see her swim 1.2 miles, cycle 56 miles and then finish with a 13.1 mile run. So impressive!
